Korea and its style!

Hello Jane! Its Lalita here. I am gonna guest blog in your page today. I really love Korea! I love Koreans! I love Korean Dramas! I dig Korean Fashion!

Today i am gonna blog about Korea and its style. Korea is a beautiful country with many natural landscapes and entertainment for any tourists.

If there is one word to describe Korean style, its limitless. Just like how we have seen Psy's Gangnam style, today i will be blogging about some fashion style of Koreans too.

You can find me in my blog website at : www.fashionroyale.blogspot.com.au

Some 25 million South Koreans -- about half the population -- travel abroad at least once a year, but it’s safe to assume that most haven't seen all the beautiful sights within the country.

Theres plenty of things to do in Korea. You will never be bored. Theres alot of places of interest to visit. Below are some of the pictures of some places worth going to.

Gwang-An Bridge

Also known as the Diamond Bridge, this two-story bridge connects Suyeong-gu and Haeundae-gu and offers an astonishing view of mountains, sandy beaches, hills and city lights.

Kwang-An Bridge is not for pedestrians, but anyone can enjoy the spectacular night view of the bridge from afar; its state-of-the-art lighting system allows an exterior lighting of over 100,000 colors.

                                                Gongryong Ridge, Seorak Mountain

Physical fitness and mountain climbing experience are prerequisites to viewing these curious peaks in the Seorak mountain range.

Thought to be shaped like the spine of a dinosaur (hence the name, "Dinosaur Ridge"), this rocky ridge offers spectacular views of both inner and outer Seorak.

The climb is no picnic: the peak elevation of Gongryong Ridge, the most popular ridge route in the range, is approximately 1,200 meters.

                                                            Seopjikoji, Jeju Island

First-time visitors to Jeju island need to plan their trip wisely, as the Jeju bucket list is long and varied. One of the musts on the list is Seopjikoji, a promontory on the coast famous for its serenity and romance.

Yellow rape blossoms fill the field in the spring, creating a colorful contrast with the red soil and cerulean sky.

The best photographs of Sungsan Sunrise Peak (the first item on this list) can be taken here at Seopjikoji.

The scenery of Seopjikoji has also been captured by several Korean films and dramas, including "All In," one of the first Hallyu dramas starring Lee Byung-hun and Song Hye-kyo.

                                                     Uleung Island Seaside Road

Uleung Island, nicknamed "Mysterious Island", is a popular weekend getaway spot for Seoulites.

Curious rock formations, shore cliffs and numerous waterfalls adorn the island’s Seaside Road.

Anyone planning to walk or bike their way around Uleung Island should make sure they set aside enough time, as they will inevitably stop countless times to admire the glorious view.

Seongsan Sunrise Peak

Hydrovolcanic eruptions formed this majestic volcanic crater 5,000 years ago on Jeju Island.

A UNESCO world heritage site, the peak is famous for many things, including numerous rare plant species, but is best known for the magnificent sight of the sun rising over it (hence the name).

The climb up the peak’s northwest side ridge (its other sides are steep cliffs) to the 180-meter highest point takes 30 minutes.

One thing about Korean i love is not just its beautiful places. I am intrigued by Korean fashion that has come to light in the recent years. Starting from Korea's cultural outfit.

Hanbok  is the traditional Korean dress. It is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. Although the term literally means "Korean clothing", hanbok today often refers specifically to hanbok of Choson Dynasty and is worn as semi-formal or formal wear during traditional festivals and celebrations.

Today, Korean designers have innovated Hanbok and given it a modern twist, which has appealed not locally but also internationally.

The Harem Pants! The first time i saw this style, i thought this looked abit weird. However the more i see people even stars such as, Justine Bieber, wearing one, this pants is definitely here to stay. I am gonna try one real soon.

They say less is more. However in some cases, more is even better, especially in Koreans. The hat, the glasses, the boots, the cardigan and even the bulky sweater and with well groomed hair, nothing can go wrong.

Then there's the colorful group with bold fabric prints and bright colored-hair. Combined with a confident and 'couldn't care less' attitude, they shine out in their own distinct ways. This shows that style is about an individual and reflection of own self.

Enough about boldness. There are also groups that prefer to simplify their style. With light colors and simple designs, Koreans do love to bring out a clean cut, elegant and sophisticated style too.

Well thats all for this blog. Guys you can catch me in my own blog website at www.fashionroyale.blogspot.com.au. Thats all for now. See ya!
